Most people these days feel that having a healthy PC is vital to their livelihood. This is because so many people depend on their PC's for so many things these days. A virus is the second worst thing that can happen to your PC and can cause irreparable damage to it. Clean up your PC by running the disc cleanup utility and then the defragment utility that is already pre-installed on your system. Then you will want to clean the registry with registry cleaning software. This will put your system back together nicely after you have mixed everything up with normal use, and get rid of things that slow down and can damage your PC.#3 Tune up Your PC
Defragmenting and cleaning up your PC is part of tuning it up, there is also tune-up software that can also optimize your PC for best performance.#4 Scan Your PC
Scan your PC for unwanted bugs, viruses, and spyware regularly. Your antivirus is a good start, but it won't find things like many of the tracking cookies and harmful spyware and malware that you can get just by reading e-mail or visiting a web page. You should also have anti-spyware installed on your PC as well.#5 Let Your PC Rest
When you aren't using your PC, put it to sleep. Your PC has an option to put it into sleep mode when it is not in use. This will extend the life of your healthy PC because it is not being used as often, and it will help to save you money on your electric bill, too.
